Main Responsibilities:

*Ensure compliance to UK QMS and Expositions
*Provides advice and oversees Product Verification activities, ie, product inspection, preparation of paperwork and/or parts to support release personnel
*Performs Material Review Board activities including dispositions and relevant Enterprise Resource Planning transactions
*Supports quality system improvements through corrective and preventive actions
*Supports system development, integration and training activities
*Increases internal and/or external customer satisfaction activities
*Performs internal and/or external compliance audits as scheduled
*Provides measurement and monitoring evidences

Other Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to legislation governing employment, including but not restricted to; health and safety, data protection, equal opportunities ensuring compliance with local policies and procedures.
  • Comply with statutory requirements and regulations and Company policies.
  • Undertake such other duties commensurate with the role that may be required from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge - current and relevant knowledge of:

*AS9100 and ISO 9000 Quality Management System standards
*EASA Regulations (Part-21G & Part-145)
*Root cause investigation techniques (eg FMEA, 5 Whys, Cause & Effect.)
*Continuous improvement techniques (eg 5S, Value Stream, DMAIC.)
*Quality engineering statistical tools (SPC, Pareto, DPMO/PPM, etc.)
*Mechanical inspection techniques
*General manufacturing and assembly techniques
*Electronic/electrical test techniques
*Electronic/electrical inspection methods and acceptance criteria

Skills

*Able to demonstrate effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools to produce professional, accurate and timely reports and documentation including statistical data.
*Advanced problem solving (analysing, investigating and following up)
*Creating and improving processes and business systems (being process oriented)
