Enterprise Architect - DV ClearedWe currently have a requirement for an Enterprise Architect to work on an exciting new 4 month contract with our leading client. The role is based in the area of Gloucestershire. Applicants are required to hold a current DV clearance or higher.
Primary Objectives/Deliverables:
Assist the enterprise architect and Software Engineering leads to deliver the systems vision, by using an agile approach to spawn discrete work packages. Clearly defining work package requirements, interfaces and dependencies, acceptance criteria. Communicate the work package to development teams to ensure compliance to the overall vision, review deliverables to ensure compliance with the design. Accept the deliverables. help elaborate the system vision by evaluating existing systems and data and describing transition tasks.
Secondary Objectives/Deliverables:
*Software design, UML
*Java design and implementation
*Oracle (or similar) database design
*Good understanding of Authority technologies and systems
*Experience of reviewing software artefacts
*Experience of providing QA to software delivery teams
*Experience of identifying and mitigating software risk
*Ability to elaborate requirements (functional and non-functional) and turn them into software design artefacts
*Experience of the full development lifecycle (inception, elaboration, build, test, review)
Specific Skills or Experience Required:
*Software design, UML
