Multiple vacancies across current programmes with specific experience in one of the following areas required.

Mechanical Systems

Nacelles

Essential
Fundamental knowledge of the principles of Mechanical Engineering, particularly Structures.
- Understand the role of other Engineering Departments and their interaction with the Stress Office.
- Developing an understanding of :-
- Detail Stress Analysis techniques.
- Applicable airworthiness requirements
- Software analysis tools
- Selection criteria for materials & processes
- Applicable airworthiness requirements
- Application of design cases & load factors
- Structural testing methods and results interpretation.
- Ability to prepare clear concise documentation
- Familiarisation with local work instructions
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Be able to work to an agreed time scale
- Resolve problems independently wherever possible.
- Communicate clearly and effectively

Candidates who are not resident in N Ireland will also qualify for a per diem payment of 5/hr in addition to the hourly rate.
