Our client a global telecoms company is currentley recruiting for an experience Solution architect to work on a large government contract. The ideal candidate will Be SC cleared. The post holder can chose to be based from Camberley in surrey or Garforth near Leeds.

Solutions Architect required to support design activities within a major customer contract. Working within the existing design team, the candidate will be expected to:
* Work with the sales community and end customer to capture and refine requirements,
* Develop solution concepts and review within design team,
* Work with our suppliers to design the best solution,
* Construct sizing models to substantiate design decisions,
* Write high level design documentation,
* Produce cost models to help financial forecasting of your designs,
* Present your design to the delivery team and work with them on matters arising during development,
A proven track record in delivering designs for Internet based technologies is critical and a demonstrable ability to produce innovative solutions is needed. Customer relationship management is key to the role, and the candidate will be expected to maintain the trust of our customers through clear leadership and well executed deliverables. Although all Internet technologies are considered, a good understanding of some of the following is required:
* Firewalls, Cisco Application Control Engine, McAfee Firewall Enterprise or Juniper,
* Solaris 10 including virtualisation,
* Anti-virus technologies including security appliances,
* Deep packet inspection,
* SMTP messaging,
* Web servers,
* Intrusion Detection,
* Application and network load-balancing e.g. Cisco, RADware,
* Network storage
