Description
Systems Programmer- London or Edinburgh- Connect:Direct- ContractImmediate requirement for a Systems Programmer with Connect:Direct to work for a Banking client in either an Edinburgh or London location.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide Project design and build for the infrastructure, which requires an in-depth knowledge of Connect:Direct , Connect:Direct Secure +, SFTP, OS390 , Windows , Unix/Linux and standard networking protocols.
-Provide consultancy support to Network Softwares customers, assisting in project estimates and delivery schedules.
-Assist with development and assessment of product portfolio to provide continual enhancement to both our product suite, and the supported infrastructure.
-Work closely with other teams to ensure that designs to not compromise other environments i.e concentrating on End-to-End design.
Experience:
-Solid experience working in an OS/390 environment
-Knowledge of TCP/IP
-Good Knowledge of Connect:Direct
-Experience of Windows and Unix platforms
-Familiarity with change and incident management tools and processes
-Excellent understanding of large site communications infrastructures
-Good all round networking knowledge and experience
