An industry leader in the provision of Production Control Systems in subsea environments offers Engineers the opportunity to work in a high-pace industry and also to develop along a Technical Career Path.
We require a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer for subsea projects - includes client/supplier liaison, review of client specifications and selection or specification of solutions in the expanding subsea instrumentation field.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Interpretation of industry and international codes and standards.
- Interpretation of client standards and global practices.
- Ensuring technical compliance of products with specification, codes, standards, legislation and client technical requirements.
- Generation and/or review of technical procurement specifications, parts and document suites for subsea instrumentation, electrical harness and electrical connectors (working within an established team).
- Product and task ownership including the generation of robust design files to demonstrate due diligence.
- Ensuring that product design conforms with field proven or qualified technologies.
- Ensuring that best practice is followed to achieve maximum levels of safety, quality and efficiency.
- Representation of the company in client and vendor focused design review.
- Understanding the vendor base, products and capabilities.
- Technical contribution to vendor selection processes.
- Conducting root cause analyses in instances of failure.
- Establishment and maintenance of standardised product lines.
- Active contribution to department and site goals and objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- HND or Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record.
- You must have unrestricted authorization to work in Country of posting.
- Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial and manufacturing facilities (including some overseas facilities).

- Computer base knowledge (MS Word/Excel/Outlook/CAD).

- Outstanding creativity and ability to communicate ideas.
