IP Design Engineer - Nexus/Cisco/CCIE/Mobile telcoA exciting opportunity to work within a leading telco company based in Berkshire. Successful engineers will be responsible for the following -
Responsibilities to include -
- Accountable for design and implementation of IP network solutions to deliver particular customer requirements: required to write Statement of Requirements, Target Architecture, High Level Design, Detailed Design, Implementation plan.
- Describe business benefits and risks of proposed solutions.
- Provide solution overview, training, and suggested troubleshooting and preventative maintenance guides to Operations peers
- Provide 4th line support to Operations as required
- OSPF, QOS, NAT, VoIP, IP routing and switching
- MP-BGP, RIPv2, MPLS, network management platforms, Firewalls, SNMP, load balancing
- Knowledge of IP addressing on a multiple site/size basis
Successful engineers will be an IP professional who have a CCIE qualification and ideally have worked in the mobile arena previously.
