Description of the project
Our banking client's Human Resources Department has expressed the need to have a powerful reporting tool to improve the productivity of teams working on the generation of reports. The HR Group uses the Cognos reporting tool.
Project Objectives
The project's goal is to enable teams reporting to generate/distribute preformatted reports and be able to create ad-hoc queries.
Details of the project
- Assist in the delivery of the project in a multi user environment
- Participate in the preparation of specifications according to general guidelines
- Definition of the technical architecture related to IT management group
- Participate in the implementation, maintenance programs in accordance with the specifications provided, different deadlines and quality standards
- Participate in the design and testing of detailed functional analysis
- Translate to programming language
- Participate in the development of communication interfaces between application services
- Participate in the Test and Qualification phase
- Provide production support
Experience required
- Training in computer science (with minimum 3 years experience)
- Knowledge of COGNOS tool and projects around this technology,
- Knowledge of methods, standards and development tools
- Over 2 years experience of working in a team on an international project
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent English
