Description
Typically degree qualified (or equivalent) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a Science or Engineering subject.An extensive background in development of real-time embedded C++ in a product development environment with a deep understanding of the principles of object oriented software.
Experienced in the development of software to run on a real time operating system.
Experience of working in an Agile software development environment is an advantage.
The ability to read electronic schematics and use oscilloscopes and similar equipment.
Experience of video data processing, digital image capture interfacing to CCDs is an advantage.
Work within an Agile software development environment.
Design, implement and test software in accordance with software development plans.
Work with team to provide effort / code size estimates to enable software planning.
Review, understand and when necessary update interface specifications.
