Our client, is a UK company working within the offshore oil & gas and renewable energy industries. they deliver complex industrial projects providing a range of professional services. You will be working on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) Contract lasting approximately 18months based in the Newcastle area, this will be for an Offshore Jacket Project

Contracts Administrator/Quantity Surveyor

Requirements
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor in Quantity Surveying or Engineering degree
Experience in EPC industry operations; out of which minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role, preferably with engineering/oil and gas or energy industry gained in leading contracting companies or consultancy firms
Formal qualification/affiliations
A good knowledge of administering FIDIC or ICE and other similar contract formulation standards is required, with an ability to interpret contract conditions
Proven track record with recognized international standard companies, particularly in Middle East operations and projects
Technical and practical knowledge of all phases of prime contract and subcontract development, award, administration and close-out relating to a multi-discipline construction project.
Technical and practical comprehension of engineering, procurement, and construction functions and general business techniques. Knowledgeable of current industry and technical developments
Knowledgeable of current industry and technical developments
Capability to accept responsibilities and accomplish project objectives in a timely manner
Supervision level experience in the field of quantity survey and contract administration
