Electronic Development/Test Engineer - Wiring Test/LabVIEW

A Industry leading organisation based in Cambridge is looking to bring in a Electronic Development/Test Engineer on an initial 6 month contract which is likely to extend. The rate is looking at £35per hour.
This organisation has recruited heavily in their test development team and the current projects are at a crucial stage where the test team are being strained upon with extra resource needed. The role is 70% LabVIEW development and 30% hands on wiring test.
The role:
You will provide engineering support to the design and development team and you will be required to create and run test rigs using LabVIEW. There will also be design experiments and tests to verify the electronic, mechanical and fluidic systems whilst showing compliance with specifications.
Key Skills:
- Design interface circuits of electronic components
- Testing designs by creating test procedures
- Fault finding on electronic systems using standard test equipment
- Design and use of LabVIEW and TestStand for the creation of electronic and mechanical assembly of Test rigs to gather data.
