Wellhead/Tree Engineer - Aberdeen - 2 Years + - December Start
My Oil & Gas client is urgently looking for a Wellhead/Tree engineer to work in their offices in Aberdeen. The purpose of the position is to provide onshore wellhead/tree engineering support as part of an integrated multi-functional well engineering Jackdaw Field Development Pre-Sanction design & planning team. This will incorporate all aspects of wellhead & tree design planning.
The individual will have to have experience developing tender evaluation plans, who will be working with the well engineering team onshore. A strong experience working with HPHT projects is essential.
This is a 2 tear contract with a possibility to extend for another 2 years depending on performance and project duration. This requires somebody able to work in the EU and who can easily slot in to a hard working team.
Skills/Requirements
- Experienced and strong technical background in dry wellhead/trees.
- HPHT experience is considered preferable.
- Familiar with the wider range of well engineering activity from Drilling, Completion, Interventions and Well Integrity.
- Previous experience or close familiarity with Central North Sea HPHT Assets would also be considered highly advantageous.
- Comfortable with technical report writing.
- Comfortable with the tendering process and developing associated documents and preparing presentations for communication purposes.
