An exciting position for an M&E project engineer has arisen with a Government organisation in London
Responsibilities
The supervision and deployment of, engineers, assistant team manager, supervisors and inspectors to programmes of traditionally procured and partnered M&E projects and contracts.
Ensuring the progression of all works in full compliance with Health & safety legislation
Managing the financial progression and reconciliation of individual projects within allocated programmes of work.
To lead on special projects and direct and control Engineers on complex projects of engineering design and maintenance work.
Recommend and manage changes to procedure and strategy arising from monitoring and continually reviewing both the data management and the contractual process against the service plan and delivery objectives.
Consultation with Members, Tenants & Leaseholders on all aspects of Major Works programmes.
Leading on the planning and implementation of allocated projects or programmes of planned maintenance work.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
HNC/D in Mechanical building services Engineering or equivalent with experience in design of commercial and domestic heating.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Ability to plan, manage and effectively co- ordinate the work of teams of mechanical engineers, inspectors, contractor & consultants.
Ability to devise and control a programme of works involving contract staff not directly managed by the post holder.
