My Milton Keynes based SC cleared client is looking for a SC Cleared Category Manager/Security Cleared Category Manager to take on a 6 month contract.
Please note this role is based on an SC cleared site, so all contractors must have clearance prior to start date.
The role:
* Stakeholder consultation, management and engagement including production and delivery of associated communications plans
* Support category team in delivering interim resource requirements to the business
* To develop category strategies, undertaking evaluation of sourcing options and production of formal sourcing plans for all key areas of spend
* To work with the Contract Management Team to establish supplier performance management plans
* To manage the formal tendering process, including EU competitions
* Formulate procurement strategies, risk analysis and procurement action plans
* Provide advice and guidance in the preparation of ITT and other associated documents
* On-going analysis of key category markets, identifying current and potential suppliers, understanding supply dynamics and their impact on the supply chain
* Undertake tender evaluation, contract award, supplier debriefing and other associated duties
Skills needed:
Mandatory
Knowledge of Public Procurement procedures
Excellent Customer/Stakeholder Care skills
Experience of delivering procurement projects through the full procurement cycle
Excellent Communication Skills
Excellent Negotiation skills
Good team working abilities
Desirable
Experience or knowledge of HR/Temporary Resource procurement
Experience of using Oracle applications
Experience of working in the Public Sector
Experience of using an e-tender system (Bravo)
