Scheduler and administration support/PA/secretary - NHS, working with GP's
Sand resources is looking for a hardworking scheduler and administration support candidate, to work within a busy and dynamic NHS environment. This role would suit someone with previous experience working within the NHS or a doctor's surgery. They will have working knowledge of scheduling and administration as well as general secretarial experience. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of both MS Word and MS Excel. Working closely with other team members, the role will help to support the delivery team and play a vital role as the main point of contact with all of the customers. The ideal candidate will need to be efficient, organised, have a sharp eye for detail, strong negotiation skills and excellent time management skills.
The person will also need to be a team player, work well under pressure and be able to manage and prioritise assigned tasks. They will also need to be assertive and confident, as the role will have a strong element of chasing suppliers and stake-holders to ensure information is submitted in a timely manner.
The right candidate for the role of scheduler and administration support will be able to organize events, meetings and take minutes. As well as supporting the Programme Manager with interfacing with Stake-holders & customers, and updating important programme documentation & databases.

Scheduler and administration support/PA/secretary -
Essential experience

*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
*Pervious NHS or GP practice experience.
*Excellent customer service skills.
*Strong MS Word skills including report writing, mail-merge, and formatting.
*Strong MS Excel skills for cross referencing spreadsheets, formulas, budget analysis and creating Programme documentation.
*Strong negotiation skills with the ability to deal with difficult and angry customers.
*Strong understanding of Programme Documentation.
*Excellent general IT skills.
*Strong organisational skills and minute taking experience.
*Keen eye for detail.
*Confident and professional manner.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a similar role, overseeing a number of different sites and keeping up with all documentation and filing required to support the Programme Manager.
