Manaco International is looking for our client for a content producer for Intranet, for a period of 5 months (December 2012 to May 2013), to cover a maternity leave.

Key areas of responsibility include:
- Taking ownership for content on the global Intranet.
- Producing written content for the channel. This includes writing news articles, covering conferences, reports and writing/providing content for static pages.
- Editing content supplied by various stakeholders.
- Responsible for day-to-day content matters relating to the website (updates, clean-ups, etc).
- Maintaining strong working relationships with internal sources.
- Providing input where requested in the Intranet development project.

Support for other communications channels of the Multimedia Office
The person we are looking for should also be able to:
- Act as an editorial advisor for colleagues. Advising on English language, spelling, writing style and grammar.
- Work together with the content managers of the other channels (Internet and corporate magazine) to ensure content alignment and to act as their back-up where needed.

For this challenging vacancy, we are seeking the following:
- Degree-level education.
- A fulent English speaker with proven writing and editing skills, preferably in writing/editing for online internal channels:
- Good planning skills.
- Solid analytical skills.
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years relevant work experience, of which 4 to 5 in larger, international organisations.
- Sound knowledge of the financial services sector.
- An understanding of organisational sensitivities.
