A high profile practice firm, is seeking an Expatriate Payroll Associate to join

The role of the expatriate payroll associate is to assist with the preparation of the monthly and quarterly calculations for a total portfolio of over 130 expatriate payroll clients including annual end of year statutory reporting requirements. In addition the role will also include key activities to a transitional project and implantation of around a further 150 payrolls during tax year in readiness of RTI (Real Time Information) and the tax year.

Responsibilities include:
*Calculation of UK PAYE & NIC liability across all payrolls through the STAR payroll system.
*A significant part of the role will involve manipulating and analysing compensation data provided by the client in order to capture the appropriate earnings types liable to UK PAYE & NIC.
*The successful candidate will work closely with their Payroll Team Reviewer who will perform checks on all prepared tasks and will also provide training, guidance and will accompany individuals to any internal meetings.
*For tax year and in respect to Real Time Information (RTI), key changes to legislation will mean that preparers will have a greater responsibility on delivering monthly submissions to HMRC for the client, as the current yearly P35 submission will be discontinued.

The successful applicant will be tax technically accomplished as well as being conversant on STAR payroll.

*Proficient in Excel
*Flexibility and good team working skills
