JPMorgan is looking for a KYC Analyst to join their growing team supporting the Sales teams based throughout EMEA.

You shall be responsible for supporting the following duties in the preparation of Know Your Client (KYC) records:

  • Customer identification
  • Data collection
  • Data recording
  • Quality assurance
  • Renewal processes

Your Responsibilities shall include:

  • Setting up the KYC template and establishing correct background definition (including determining customer type)
  • Assisting Sales in the KYC Renewal process and monitoring/tracking KYC out standings in order to ensure these KYCs are completed within set target dates
  • Ensuring underlying reference data is correct (eg Client Central, Cognos, ownership) following through to account closings etc.
  • Documenting history of doing business with the bank
  • Documenting account level details ie where accounts held, and for existing customers documenting the values and volumes across the account
  • Reviewing databases, external media for adverse media coverage
  • Obtaining attestations from other Lines of Business within JPMorgan where applicable
  • Working with sales officers to collect supplemental data and entering that into the KYC system
  • Using the KYC system reports, tracking progress and outstanding - reporting that to sales managers on a regular basis
  • Highlighting any issues either in collecting data for specific relationships and or overall progress and reporting to the team manager as well as to sales officers.

Key Skills

  • We are looking for an individual with experience of working in a KYC environment either as a KYC Analyst, within Operation or Client Services.
  • High level of administrative competency ie able to work in a methodical and structured approach
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven, team based environment
  • Able to work with the systems tools required eg Internet, SKYC system and desktop applications
  • High level of initiative to provide the best possible support to the Sales team
  • Good interpersonal skills ie able to obtain information from Sales Officers and work closely with them to achieve completion
  • Ability to communicate factually up to senior level eg KYC team management/sales manager level
  • Ability to identify and escalate issues

What's On Offer:

This role is initially for 6 months though as the team is growing rapidly there could be the opportunity to be converted to a permanent employee. You must be able to start immediately or within a maximum of 2 weeks notice. The role shall be based at the main JPMorgan site, Chaseside in Bournemouth.
