ADGA is looking for a Scheduling Manager!

Are you a Scheduling Manager looking for a new, long term opportunity in the Ottawa area?

In order to qualify for this position, candidates MUST have five (5) years experience in the following areas:

  • Creating and updating the Master Project Schedule and Work Breakdown Structures using MS Project;
  • Determining work progress and other related status information from project participants as necessary to maintain the Work Breakdown Structures and project Schedule;
  • Reporting status at various status meetings;
  • Providing related ad hoc reports and presentations;
  • Carrying out other related tasks as specified in the Master Project Schedule;

Candidates must also:

  • Possess a strong knowledge of MS Project;
  • Have the ability to coordinate and plan;
  • Possess knowledge and experience with Earned Value (Lite); and
  • Be very detail oriented;
Candidates will be required to perform the following tasks:
  • Manage the project's schedule management process in accordance with the approved Schedule Management Plan
  • Establish and manage the project's schedule baseline following the project's Change Management Process;
  • Establish and manage the Master Project Schedule implemented in MS Project 2007;
  • Manage the schedule update process with Work Package Owners;
  • Manage the project's scope management process in accordance with the approved Scope Management Plan;
  • Manage the Work Breakdown Structure in MS Visio;
  • Determine work progress and other related status information from project participants as necessary to maintain the WBS, Work Packages and Master Project Schedule;
  • Prepare or ensure the preparation of all deliverables, reports or outputs associated with the Schedule and Scope Management Processes;
  • Identify risks or issues related to Schedule or Scope Management;
  • Training or coaching project team in schedule and scope management procedures;
  • Manage and maintain the Project Action Register; and
  • Provide related ad hoc reports and presentations.
