Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a IT Procurement Manager to work with a public sector organisation based in Glasgow. This is a 6 months contract, candidate will ideally have a Basic Disclosure Scotland or be happy to apply.
Skills Required -
- An excellent working knowledge and understanding of ICT Procurement.
- Knowledge/experience of procurement within the public sector.
- Knowledge of EU Procurement legislation
- Good team worker, able to identify who to consult in any given circumstance and able to work well with a range of officials and external stakeholders at all levels, including lawyers and other procurement professionals.
- Confident and competent at handling legal advice, finance and statistics.
- Ability to handle pressure from intense periods of work and from external stakeholders, including delivery failures.
Desirable skills -
- Knowledge/experience of the education sector.
