Description
We are seeking SQL Project Manager for 2 month contract role in Charlotte, NC. Individual must have been a SQL DBA. 80% Travel involved.
Skills:
- 8+ years of implementation experience of information systems including 5+ years of healthcare industry related experience.
- Experience with multiple programming languages, hardware installation, Network installation, Operating System knowledge, Client Server environment, Object Oriented concepts and Database Management knowledge.
- Practical experience with, Hardware installation and upgrades, Network installation, Operating System installs and upgrades, Client Server environment, Object Oriented concepts and Database Management knowledge.
- 2+ years experience with SQL performing Healthcheck & upgrades.
- Experience with hospital financial and clinical systems.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to work with hospital executives, management and technical personnel.
- Must be able to travel up to 80%
Education
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Mathematics or equivalent experience.
- Information Services Management degree may be preferred.

Responsibilities:
Project manages the technical tasks associated with the implementation of the business solutions in complex environments assuring the timely and quality completion of the deliverables. Partners with clients in planning, executing technical tasks such as conversions, interfaces, integration, issue resolution, assessment of system environment readiness, installation. Mentors and provides technical assistance to client and internal resources. May lead multiple technical projects simultaneously and is the main point of contact for a client. Provides recommendations on the process improvements related to implementation processes and leads the efforts to create improvements.
