My client is seeking a Senior Developer with strong expertise in vb.net, asp.net and t-sql. They are involved in providing a full range of claims handling activities, working with all of the major UK insurance companies, a wide range of Underwriters and an array of blue chip international corporate clients.The remit of the role is to develop new software, gather and specify requirements and then design, implement, build and deploy the system. You will also develop and maintain existing software and gather and specify new requirements, deploying the upgrades.
You will be skilled in the usage of design tools, principally Visio, with expertise in the above mentionned technolgoies as well as knowledge of others such as C#, Silverlight, XSLT and Sharepoint. You will also have an understanding of database design principles and admin, as well as website design principles.
