Systems Engineer - Software Engineer/Hardware EMS Systems Engineer x 5 - CONTRACT
Location: West Midlands
Duration: Initially 6 months with very likely long-term extensions
Rate: Negotiable per hour
One of our long-standing clients in the West Midlands area, an unrivalled giant in the Automotive sector urgently requires an additional 5 experienced Contract Systems/Software Engineers to join their expanding project teams.
Role:
* Be part of a multinational team of engineers responsible for developing Engine Management System modules for future cars
* Provide consultancy & solutions on EMS, troubleshoot and guide team on various modules of EMS
* Coordinate & negotiate with customer on work aspects; design, develop, test, document and support till production of the work package
* Testing both in vehicle and on simulator
Requirements:
* Should have worked hands-on in a min of 2 complete EMS projects
* Excellent understanding of engine management system/domain
* Experience in MBD AND/OR MATLAB and C
* Sound troubleshooting skills
* Knowledge of HIL setup and usage would be an advantage
* Experience in Embedded Development Tools
* Ability to complete project goals and monitor overall program status goals
* Good driving skills, especially high power luxury vehicles would be an advantage
SOFT SKILLS
* Customer-oriented and committed to work systematically under tight schedules
* Able to learn and work independently and within a team is expected
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Good in Mentoring individuals and teams on Technical aspects
* Self-starter with excellent Time management skills
