Contract terms: W2

Works independently to review and validate sufficiency of documentation for charitable contributions made to non-profit organizations. References payment IDs from a list of selected audit samples within a contributions database and verifies documents uploaded by nine regional offices. Tests compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies and procedures. Identifies and summarizes exceptions and presents findings to regional staff and Community Benefit leaders. Follows up on ensuring resolution of identified issues. 
This individual should understand general compliance, testing and remediation concepts and have a working knowledge of SOX implications, internal controls, etc. An aptitude for quickly understanding functional business processes and general ledger reconciliations is essential. This position requires a highly detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who's able to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications:
- BA or BS required; CPA, CIA or CISA certification highly desirable; minimum of 3+ years of audit-related experience. 

Other Responsibilities: 
- Assist Financial Analyst in preparation of year-end financial statements and supporting schedules. 
- Perform other tasks as time and schedule permits. 

Qualifications: 
Education Requirements:

Technology Requirements: 
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (ie Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint) 
- Data analysis skills preferred (ie pivot tables and development of simple data queries) 

Work Experience: 
- Minimum of 3+ years of audit-related experience 
- Excellent skills in Access and Excel 
- Ability to quickly grasp new processes, policies and reconciliations 
- Background with internal audit department or accounting firm preferred
