LikeBright (http://www.likebright.com/) is a recently funded TechStars graduate that makes it easy to meet your friends' friends or match your friends up. We're working to solve the randomness problem in dating, both online and off, and turn the internet into an endless fantastic house party for you and the friends you trust. We've gotten some great press in NPR and elsewhere (http://www.npr.org/blogs/alltechconsidered//smartphone-apps-help-more-singles-find-the-boy-or-girl-next-door) and we just closed our seed round from smart investors including the founding scientist of eHarmony. We have a fun team with top-notch developers, some smart creative folks and unique secret sauce, and we're working towards a major partnership announcement in January with a corresponding World's Best Matchmaker contest that'll boost the company's profile significantly.
Now we're looking for a visual and UX designer that can make our product sing. We need a self-starter with an eye for gentle simplicity and audacious standards who can take full responsibility for our design, polish every flow and every pixel and tell us how to give you the support you need. Extra points if you love music and well-crafted handmade things and are secretly or openly a romantic. It's also great if you can do some front-end coding, but we'll happily do that for you if you just want to own the art.
