We're looking for a UI/Web Designer for a contract role at our offices in Glenview, IL.
Responsibilities:
The UI/Web Designer will assist the ongoing creation of web screen mockups and designs for our main payroll system product.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment, be a team player and possess strong communication and time management skills.
This individual will:
- Create designs based on site standards following specific direction, with a focus on usability and visual consistency
- Assist in web site design maintenance and production work
- Support product managers with completing screen mockups for project documents based on detailed business requirements
Requirements:
This is a great opportunity for a seasoned UI/Web Designer. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of related professional web design experience, knowledge of UI layout and design through HTML/CSS, basic ability to hand code simple HTML/CSS, demonstrated proficiency in Photoshop, a solid understanding of image formats and optimization, cross-browser compatibility, usability and web design best practices.
