Position Description:Performs programming and application support to facilitate decision making, or to discover, improve, develop or defend new or existing products.
*Provide experienced trouble-shooting in resolving problems in support of assigned projects. Provide technical input to streamline and improve operational issues related to the area.
*Communicate results of programming efforts on clinical systems within the area.
*May assist in implementing new technologies / methodologies that will improve current and future decision-making or business process.
*Plans and carries out professional development under the supervision of immediate manager.
*May supervise the activities of lower level personnel
*Effective job performance can have a major impact on the time to finalize clinical trials.
*Contributes to the business / scientific / management decision-making process.
*Contributes to strategic decision making in regards to clinical information, systems development, and technology projects.
*Decisions resulting in a solution to technical, operational and developmental problems posed by project teams and management.
*Decisions regarding workflow and priorities to meet project and business priorities.
*Decisions regarding daily time allocation to complete work plan. Decisions related to professional development.
