A savvy SQL Data Modeller is required by a leading technology team based within a global investment bank over in Canary Wharf. This is a Greenfield project and is one that is set as a multi-year program; the team require a strong SQL data modeller who will be able to give direction in terms of the delivery of a data collection platform.As the SQL Data Modeller you will be part of a team where technology is a key enabler within the program, and spans across 8 internal business groups as well as the central Treasury IT function. This role will give you the opportunity to work with large data volumes as the data platform will allow applications to request and submit or to collect processed data seamlessly along with interacting with reporting data marts for business reporting.
This role will also require you to lead a small team both on and off shore whilst being hands on and will require strong data platform experience. You will also be liaising closely with the business on a daily basis to make sure that there are clear roadmaps in place and there is consistency of high standards.

Essential Skills:
- Strong SQL Data Platform experience
- Strong SQL Data modelling skills
- Experience of design and architecture with high data volumes
- SQL server skills are essential
- Experience within projects that are rich in data complexity
- Investment Banking is Beneficial
