The Role
We are one of the most dynamic and exciting independent youth media companies in the world. We have offices in more than 30 countries and a growing portfolio of media properties including magazines, websites, records, events, DVD, marketing, venues, films, and TV.

We also maintain a brand strategy and creative services arm of its sister business. This arm helps brands develop marketing platforms with an emphasis on digital media, content creation and consumer engagement. Their stable of clients includes a range of consumer brands, ranging from lifestyle to technology to FMCG.

We are seeking an Senior Account Manager to project manage the accounts assigned to him/her, contribute to creative development across content and editorial, as well as being able to assist on productions. Additionally, the role will also touch on strategic planning, media planning/buying, non-traditional activation, and generally managing the successful delivery of on-going campaigns as well as key commercial projects.

Key areas of the position will be to:
- Day to day client management, including reporting, face-to-face meetings and troubleshooting.
- Develop brand strategies for the agency`s clients and work with the team to realize these ideas.
- Ensure the continuous progression of work by building strong relationship with all core disciplines - production, planning and activation.
- Integrate with other key departments and improve all areas of the briefing and response process.
- Improve client servicing at all levels.
- Contribute to new business development and pitches

Key requirements of the role:
- The Senior Account Manager role will require at least 3-4 years of experience in media and/or creative environment, with focus on account management complemented by a strong planning element throughout an entire campaign development process.
- The Senior Account Manager is expected to demonstrate strong written and verbal skills. This includes the ability to run meetings, present and sell creative ideas, and write strategy papers with the relevant input from the Head of the digital.
- Deep knowledge of technological, (socio)cultural and media trends
- Work on international brands, across categories
- Excellent skills servicing senior clients
- Proactive and independent work ethos
- Passionate and curious approach to innovative and non-traditional brand communications
