Description

A bespoke renewable energy project, based in Lincolnshire, requires three commissioning engineers on a 12 month contract basis.

Reporting directly to the Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for set-up, calibration and maintenance of various instrumentation systems. These will be monitoring temperature, pressure and weight variables, with commissioning to include consideration of ATEX directives and the site's hazardous environment.

As a proactive and self-sufficient commissioning engineer, you will be able to demonstrate a strong E&I background, ideally within a power station environment. Any knowledge of instrumentation for renewable energy projects is highly desirable, while at least a basic understanding of hazardous areas and ATEX directives is required to be considered. You must also demonstrate clear written communication skills, as you will be required to produce not only Risk and Method Statements but also daily reports to both suppliers and the end client.
