Our Client a Pan-Continental Airline with a strong brand, are currently in need of a Marketing Manager on an interim basis.

The position will involve a range of responsibilities such as the Marketing Budgets, the Strategies and the management of the outsourced services, ensuring consistency of brand message in all areas of Marketing such as sales, customer service, advertising and E-commerce. The position will involve understanding and developing of the service proposition/"message" using social media as well as very regular online changes and updates, the postholder will interact with the business in the UK as well as the internationally based partners, working closely with the team to develop campaigns & materials. At times there will be a need to travel internationally and for periods of time.

This will be both a complicated & challenging role and at times extremely frenetic in nature, yet rewarding.

The client requires a strong Marketing Manager with considerable B2C experience in a very fast paced environment eg retail or FMCG. A strong customer focus, forward thinking and energetic attitude is key, as is the ability to develop marketing strategies and implement initiatives around key dates. An understanding of marketing in developing countries such as East Africa would be advantageous.

This is a Full time interim assignment for c3 months.
