Description
Based in Tyneside, you will be reporting to the Mechanical Design Manager, and will be responsible for designing equipment, including full bespoke machinery, jigs, fixtures and tooling for a diverse customer base.Roles & Responsibilities
- Experience of SolidWorks or similar 3d package is essential
- Design of pneumatic control systems.
- Produce designs in accordance with the technical requirements of a project
- Production of parts lists.
- Discuss the technical requirements of projects with customers.
- Ensure designs are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor project costs down to sub-assembly level.
- Work to the latest Machinery Directives.
- Carry out risk assessments.
Skills & Experience
You will ideally be qualified to degree level in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) and be able to demonstrate the skills listed above to a high standard.
Hourly Rate
£23-27ph dependant on experience
