SCOM/SCCM Engineer - "System Center", 3rd Line Support, 2007 > 2012 Major Migration
Our Global Technology client requires a highly experienced SCOM engineer to join a team working in Belgium for a long term contract. It is a prestigious and exciting role.The initial contract will be for 3 months but the SCOM 2012 upgrade project is over a year so it does have potential for a long running contract.
Our client needs a senior Support Engineer to carry out 3rd line support on their SCOM 2007 production system and to work with the team that are designing/upgrading to SCOM 2012 and support the upgrade into production. Deep skills in the technology with strong troubleshooting skills/experience required.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the SCCM 2007 and SCOM 2007 infrastructure in place.
- Supporting the upcoming SCCM 2012 and SCOM 2012 infrastructure.
- Installing and configuring the SCCM and SCOM Servers
- Deploy software updates
- Create and distribute software packages to several regions
- Proactively monitoring the Enterprise Servers
- Provide guidance to several teams on client/agent deployment, etc.
UK SC Security Clearance Required.
