My client a leading QLD employer is looking for a Senior Technical Officer to join their team on a ten month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality software development and team leadership skills across multiple applications to maintain defined enterprise service levels in one or more technology domains.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide high level specialist advice on, and support of, the integrated operation of complex enterprise applications to achieve defined service levels.
- Provide comprehensive advice on specific applications and their integration with business requirements and the technical environment.
- Work collaboratively with business representatives and technical staff in understanding service requirements to ensure service levels remain aligned to changing business requirements and evolving delivery capabilities.
- Proactively maintain enterprise applications in accordance with my client's policies, standards and practices.
- Work collaboratively with technical support staff to provide end-to-end support of enterprise applications to ensure defined service levels are met.
- Analyse performance results, and recommend and contribute to implementing improvements, to meet or exceed defined service levels.
- Ensure the impacts of changes to any of the components supporting enterprise applications are understood and managed to maintain defined service levels.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Demonstrated ability to provide high quality software development skills using Microsoft, .NET and SQL Server and related technologies.
- Ability to perform site configuration and custom development in SharePoint is an optional requirement.
- Ability to analyse functional requirements and successfully implement solutions. (Ability to develop and implement software solutions, ensuring compliance to technical policies, standards and procedures at an enterprise level)
- High level interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to achieve deadlines and work individually and in a team environment.
