Client Messaging - To be the lead interface on client communications, picking up all actions from the below duties. Specifically to be the senior point of escalation for client communications where there is a change of a "client team" staff member, fee issue, significant service issue, complaint or material group operational issue that needs to be discussed or communicated to clients.

The Client Services Associate Director will:
* Possess the ability to discuss, present, communicate and negotiate at senior level
* Possess an analytical mind, combined with a commercial drive and the necessary skills to marry those talents and produce innovative, profitable solutions for clients and the firm itself
* Demonstrate motivation and be a self-starter who can make a visible impact and manage a team with a high level of dynamism

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Existing Client Negotiations & Sales
Responsibility for:
* Negotiate fees, scope of service, contracts and ongoing sales with existing clients in conjunction with revenue and growth targets

New Business Proposals/RFP's
Supporting:
* Sales and product teams in the completion of request for proposals (RFPs) of new and new existing business

Cross Selling & Revenue Growth
To include:
* Promotion of new products and services to new and existing clients
* Researching The business's products and set up and attend demonstrations with Subject Matter Experts (SME's)
* Drive up revenue associated with current book of clients

New Business Take On Co-ordination
Participating with:
* Other internal support teams in coordinating client due diligence, adhering to client deal team processes, including client risk assessments and general on-boarding of clients with shared services

Build Relationships (Internal/External)
Responsible for:
* Attendance at client meetings and serving on internal committees/boards
* Assessing client satisfaction and undertake client service reviews
* Work initiation, client & internal team interactions
* Client service level performance (SLP) oversight, monitoring & review

Client Directorships
Acting as:
* A director or officer of managed entities where required including preparation for board meetings and reviewing documents, attending and reviewing minutes for board meetings

Knowledge Management
Responsible for:
* Internal mentoring & training, fund structure knowledge and consultancy (technical expertise) and share best Practices and industry/trend info.

Conference Attendance
To include:
* Company representation at trade association meetings to promote new and existing products as needed.
* Identify new client opportunities.
* Awareness of industry & regulatory changes.
* Networking.

In addition to the duties listed above, the Associate Director may be requested to perform any other ad hoc duties, tasks or projects as requested by the Sector Management.

Technical Knowledge/Skills Required/Attributes

* Sufficient technical expertise and practical experience in the field of Client Services and/or alternative client service administration coupled with demonstrable experience of client board participation to command respect from clients and staff.
* Evidence of highly developed relationship management skills (re colleagues, staff, clients and intermediaries).

Previous Experience

* Demonstrable success as a strong negotiator and influencer
* Demonstrable experience of managing client entities and subordinates with a proven track record of strong technical and management skills
* Proven experience in a management role within the finance industry
* A good understanding of the business model and the market in which it operates
