A strong SQL data warehouse developer is required by my client who are based within a strong investment bank over in Canary Wharf. My clients need for a Market Risk/Credit Risk SQL data warehouse developer is because they are looking to build out a new Risk based platform. This is a very strong regulatory team who are the forefront of the risk space. The team itself is building out this new risk platform to provide unique reports to the rest of the business including credit risk managers, traders and product control.This niche team is looking to expand due to the investment in this area from the business which is down to the approach they take on being able to deliver cutting edge technologies to different business areas for their demanding client base rapidly. The role needs a strong SQL data warehouse developer who has the ability to utilise the full Business Intelligence stack including SSIS, SSRS and SSAS cubes.
This role will require the SQL data warehouse developer to build out the new database system as well as liaise with different areas of the business on a daily basis.
This is a contract role with market rates for a 6 month rolling contract.
Essential Skills
- Market Risk or Credit Risk Knowledge is an Essential Skill for this role
- Strong SQL Data warehousing development experience including SQL 2008
- Creation of SSIS packages
- Proven experience in cube creation
- Experience within investment banking is highly preferable
