Description
A Top Tier global financial institution based in the heart of the Sydney CBD requires a highly experienced senior engineer initially on a 12 month contract basis. This contract is highly likely to extend due to an expanding team and several large upcoming projects. This is a very rare opportunity offering an excellent rate and stability in a large enterprise environment within a key name in the financial industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering solutions for major upcoming projects
* Leading from a technical perspective
* Assisting with BAU work when Project work is light
* Participate in design discussions and liaise with the business
* Produce documentation including high level and detailed design, current state, build and handover guides.
Key Skills
* Strong experience with SQL instances operating in clustered environments
* Strong understanding of SQL Server, SSIS and SSAS
* Strong understanding and experience with SharePoint
* Strong Active Directory experience
* Strong Microsoft O/S and Clustering experience
* Excellent Documentation Skills
* Good understanding of SAN storage, Connectivity, NetApps, Snap drive, Snap manager
* Good understanding of HP Blade technology including Virtual Connect
* Experience with Firewalls, Switching, Routing - desirable
Key Requirements
* Experience in large enterprise, financial environments
* Excellent Communication Skills
* Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
