Next Ventures are currently executing a search for a Swedish speaking Cognos specialist for an exciting Business intelligence programme in Central Stockholm city centre.
The ideal consultant will have proven skills with Business Intelligence systems -excluding SAP. The consultant will be responsible for Development, improvements and support and the partial training of end users.
You will have proven experience in advanced Cognos analytical and report writing skills in either Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Report Studio, Metric Studio, Event Studio and Go!Office.
In this role you will be accountable for the development and delivery of large scale, complex and challenging BI solutions. Your typical duties will see you responsible for the following; BI solution and strategy development, utilisation of a variety of BI technologies, client facing product demonstrations, full life cycle development, Datamodelling, data architecture, data integration, metadata management, BI solutions amongst others
Communication and presentation skills are essential and you will have the ability to react to changing business demands.
Key Experience required:
Experience as a Developer AND Manager
Data Manager, Framework Manager, Report Writer, Analysis Studio, Query Studio, and SQL
Expertise in maintaining, developing and implementing Enterprise Cognos BI architecture
Proficiency in conducting Cognos Administration
Excellent Data Analysis skills, using SQL
Experience in developing complex relational and Framework Manager models (cubes)
Experience in developing and performance tuning of reporting queries against relational and OLAP data sources
Develop and test new reports, dashboards, scorecards and trigger reports
Monitor data accuracy
Creating multi-prompt reports with drill-thru capabilities
Organize and run training sessions for new users
Provide 1st & 2nd line support for Cognos reporting users
This is a full time role -however the client will accept someone 50-70% if not fully available. We are looking for 1 subcontrator for a 800 Hour(s) mission (6 months) beginning on 01 January 2013. The rate available is open but we would like to see a rate of SEK per hour all inclusive.
Lastly the consultant must speak fluent Swedish as the role is within the Swedish public centre and this is a requirement of the client.
