PURPOSE OF THE JOB - 
- Support the management of plant stores inventory and ensure proper cost accounting of it using SAP R3. Complete requisitions and receive all plant deliveries for cost accounting notification using SAP system. Work with Maintenance, Operations, Utilities & Supply Chain Groups to ensure emergency materials are obtained when required for equipment repairs. Complete rolling stock inventories, report and track stock levels to minimize stock-outs. 
- Support Plant Maintenance work processes by completing needed data entry into SAP system, plant databases, and equipment files.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE -
- High School diploma or equivalent, minimum, 2 year college degree desired.
- General knowledge of industrial/chemical plant equipment and operations. A minimum of 2 years experience is desired. Basic experience in mechanical and/or instrument/electrical maintenance environment is desired.
- Self-directed with the ability to follow written work instructions; ie email, etc. and the ability to make decisions within scope of function.
- Knowledge of accounting, purchasing and materials management work processes.
- Ability to do basic mathematics.
- Ability to deal with suppliers and contractors for efficient material logistics.
- Computer experience in Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, and SAP required.
- Ability to work within SAP for inventory, purchasing and stores.
- Good oral and written communication skills, and an experienced team player.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES -
- Support the Control of stores inventory which supports and maintains plant production and maintenance activities at required levels
- Receive, charge out and inventory all stores items in order to account for all associated costs.
- Assist plant Operations, Utilities & Supply Chain groups in finding required materials to keep equipment operating effectively and safely.
- Support site Maintenance Processes by completing data entry into SAP, site databases, and maintenance equipment files.
- Support data entry for SAP Material Master Maintainer, the addition and set up of new equipment and supplies in SAP for the Monaca site.
- Stock stores satellite area in Maintenance to minimize stock outs.
- Provide notification of receipt for all storeroom purchases in order to comply with auditing requirements.
- Perform quarterly rolling inventory of store stocked items.
- Training as back-up Maintenance Assistant.
- Support & participate in the Process Safety Focus Program (ie Zero Incident Mindset, complete training, report all incidents, participate in investigations as needed, etc.).

SKILLS
- Computer experience in Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, and SAP
