Introduction
The sector Manufacturing is responsible both for the production and installation of wafer steppers and scanners, including planning and logistics. The complete production process of the most advanced machines takes place within this sector. The department Configuration Administration within GLS supports the logistic organization by creating and maintaining logistics related masterdata, like material related masterdata; BOM relations and instances; timing settings and the configuration settings for Sales and software.

Job Mission
The mission is to create and control the required Configurations and logistics related masterdata in a uniform and most efficient way.

Job Description
The holder of this position: Ensures on-time review, screening and implementation of EC's (Engineering Changes). Enriches product and masterdata settings to support the GLS interfaces Ensures on-time classification of goods in movement. Participates in project CCB's (Change Boards) and discusses Engineering Changes directly with the cross-sector representatives (from development; logistics; manufacturing; field service engineering). Drives upstream validation for development proposals which influence the BOM (Bill of Material) and master data for an efficient and effective change process. Knows how to maintain BoM & Masterdata Has insight into the challenges in the process. Participates in cross-sector improvement process improvement projects. Takes initiative to understand process related improvement proposals. Is able to deliver insights regarding the pros and cons of implementation strategies. Is able to translate the change request into impact for current tooling and procedures. Facilitates and deploys the changes in the tooling and procedures for own department. Knows how to use the data tables in SAP for gathering, testing, validating and uploading data to support BOM & Masterdata processes

Education
HBO/WO business administration Pre: business administration

Experience
5 - 10 years of relevant work experience; Experience with Master Data Management (MDM); Experience with Change Management; Preferably experience within a high tech, low volume environment. Project based experience/consultancy skills is a pre. Experience with Configuration Management

Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team within a high tech environment; Drive to share knowledge; Know how of validating design data; Accurate within the job, the job environment and the work flow; Service orientated, good communicator and team worker; good interpersonal skills Able to deal with resistance; Flexible. Able to work with changes. Ability to work with computer systems (MS excel, SAP MM, Intranet) Good analytical skills Knowledge of SAP MM.

Context of the position
The holder of this position reports to the Manager Configuration Administration. Interfaces with Engineers, Projectleads, Competence Owners, etc. from Development, Logistics, Manufacturing and Finance department.

Other Information
All applicants need to use Dutch language in their daily work (social). All official communication will be held in English. Therefore candidates need to be able to read and write in English. Offer candidates with a personal motivation. Candidates will work 40 hours per week in day shift 1 position available. Startdate: ASAP! Duration of the assignment: 6 months (extension might be a possibility, but no guarantee).
