SQL Database Designer - SQL Server 2005Central Belt - £50-60k base per annum
SQL Database Designer (SQL Server 2005) required for our client, a leading investment bank, to develop their high profile client reporting programme. This is a technical role working with other teams in order to deliver this high profile, exciting project.
The successful SQL Database Designer:
- Work closely with the project manager, business analyst and infrastructure teams on the Client Reporting project.
- Complete logical and physical data mart designs for the data source for the project
- Developing and designing aspects of a dedicated SQL Server database.
- Using T-SQL - developing triggers, stored procedures and functions as requested
You should have previous experience supporting SQL Server 2005, preferably in an investment banking environment including T-SQL, BCP and DTS. The candidate would also benefit from having strong specialist knowledge in data management and experience of data mart development.
Successful candidates will have broad knowledge and experience in the investment management industry covering Client Reporting, Fund accounting and Performance measurement/attribution.
