6 MONTH CONTRACT

An opportunity for two skilled contractors has now become live. You will be part of a Network Solutions team, responsible for producing design solutions for the IP Routing, Switching and Security areas of the network. Your role encompasses all aspects of the development of the "future" network (redesign/add, change and/or increase the networks services and resources for capacity, features and functionality).

Must Have Experience:

IP & Security Design experience in a medium to large company

Firewalls, Policy-based-security and Wider security tools

Network foundation protection

OSPF, QOS, NAT, VoIP, IP routing (including the use of virtual routing domains) and switching

MP-BGP, RIPv2, MPLS, network management platforms, SNMP, load balancing

Experience in IP addressing on a multiple site/size basis

Experience in working with two or more of the following:

Cisco Routers: 6500, 7600, 7200 VXRs, 3600, 2600 & 837

Cisco catalyst switches platforms: 6500, 4000, 3500 and 2900

Nexus 7K with VDC

Juniper M or MX series

Content Switching Module (CSM)

Cisco Application Control Engine (ACE) for load balancing

And/or other vendor's equivalent devices

Cisco Application Control Engine (ACE) for application security

Cisco PIX, ASA and FWSM firewalls

Check Point firewall gateways on IPSO and SPLAT with Provider-1

Cisco Security Manager (CS-Manager), Cisco Security Monitoring & Reporting System (CS-MARS)

RSA SecurID

IPS/IDS

Cisco ACS

Experience of multiple vendor equipments: Cisco, Juniper, Redback, Radware, Nokia, etc

A positive and cooperative member of a design team and capable of working autonomously.

A persistent and thorough approach, be able to contribute to debates about new ideas

Able to understand customer's requirements and suggest solutions consistent with key business drivers of operability, OPEX reduction, scalability.

CCNP or equivalent minimum level
