Description
Our client, a well known and respected Government Department is seeking a Solutions Developer for a fantastic 6 month contract. In this exciting role, you will be working with a group of talented and highly motivated developers and architects within the application team to facilitate and implement new solutions and provide maintenance to new and existing business systems.
You will be responsible for:
- Undertaking software development and maintenance tasks within existing ASP.NET and SharePoint applications and integration points between CRM, SharePoint, Microsoft Office systems.
- Performing systems analysis, analysing technical problems and documenting relevant issues.
- Providing status reports to management and ensuring timely communication of issues to the Applications Team Leader.
- Working closely with team members and contributing to team process and skill improvements.
- Actively applying business practices and maintaining accuracy of information in all Business Systems for all client, customer and investor relationship management activities.
- Contributing to knowledge creation, by contributing to architectural standards, adopting relevant IT management practices, sharing knowledge and information, and by embracing best practice.
You will bring the following skills and experience:
- Application development experience:
- Within the Microsoft development environment.
- With web services, XML, XSLT, and related technology.
- Experience with SharePoint and related technology.
- Understanding and experience of applications development methodologies. eg, waterfall, agile.
- High level communication skills, demonstrating an ability to communicate at the technical, business and personal levels, both verbally and in writing.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and industry/professional body memberships.
Highly desirable skills:
- Experience with MS Dynamics CRM
- Experience with WCF/SOAP/MTOM
