MBE Performance Tester
-Top 3-5 required skills:
Java/J2EE - experienced 5+ years
Market Prominence (MP) - experienced 4+ years
Oracle - experienced 7+years
5+ years experienced in database & application performance tuning including (DB Objects, SQL, PL*SQL, and Stored Procedures) using native Oracle supplied monitoring tools & 3rd party tools (mainly TOAD for Oracle 10.6 or higher)
Strong knowledge of Oracle development including SQL, PL*SQL, and Stored Procedures
-Minimum years of experience required: 5+ years
-Top 3-5 daily responsibilities:
Independently troubleshoot, resolve, and document root cause analysis for complex technical problems related to Performance.
Assessing/driving appropriate performance testing for MP Batch.
Train the Performance testing team and provide hands on assistance.
Develop repeatable performance test tools/practices
Identify any gaps in existing Performance testing process/procedure and create Operational documentation for improvement.

Experience with Remedy 2+ years
Exposure to Quality Center
Exposure to messaging/WebSphere Message Broker
Exposure to Citrix
Exposure to SFTP
-Type of background you are looking for:
Technical experience 5+ years with complex midrange platforms involving 2-tier and 3-tier architectures
Understanding of current database, Middleware and Front End technologies
Some technical exposure and experience with infrastructure components like hardware, network topologies, etc
Strong IT process and procedure expertise
Excellent communication skills
Strong team focus and ability to work well under deadlines.
Must be able to work through solutions and ideas with multiple local and remote departments and will be required to effectively present suggested ideas to groups of various sizes both local and remote.
Must be able to travel for a multi-night stays if duties require on-site meetings with other groups at any of the various Kaiser locations nationally.

-Information on the project: Medicare Business Engine (MBE) application, the center of MBE is a packaged application, Market Prominence (MP), which is supplied by the vendor, Continuum Performance Systems (CPS). It is a Client Server application that access Oracle database with Powerbuilder UI that is hosted on Cirix. MBE also has SOA - Integration/Bridging technologies based around Java Web services and IBM MQSeries,
-Minimum education requirement (must be the same as for an FT): Bachelor's degree and/or 7+ years of equivalent IT experience
