A very exciting role with a leading product design house based in Cambridge has just come live. They are looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician for a long term contract role with a lot of variety and responsibility.
Key tasks will include leveraging your experience to impact manufacturing and product design and this role may have a customer facing aspect.
Essential Skills
Strong Mechanical knowledge/Aptitude
Lab/Experiment practice
Experience using machine tools
Ability to work is a fast paced environment
Apprenticeship/HNC/HND qualified in either Physics or Mechanical Engineering
Desirable Skills
Knowledge of manufacturing processes
Electro-mechanical design
CAD (Catia, Solidworks, ProE etc.)
