Senior Project Manager - Broadcasting - VOD - DAM - EPG Metadata - Agile
An experienced Senior Project Manager is required urgently to lead the delivery of complex and innovative solutions into service. Skilled in Broadcasting / Media, EPG metadata, VOD, DAM, Web Apps. The Senior Project Manager reports into the Head of Solutions, Content Discovery.
You will be contracting for a specialist broadcasting listings and premium content bureau, providing TV and radio listings and premium content to the highest standard on behalf of both broadcasters and publishers.
Your key responsibilities will cover Project Leadership and Governance Responsibilities, Financial Responsibilities running p&l, Commercial and communications responsibilities.
Experience and Knowledge
A minimum of five years' experience of leading major projects (budgets over £1M and over within the media industry) Broadcasting and media experience Expert Agile/Scrum Content Discovery/Metadata projects Direct Experience in leading large multi-disciplinary teams Direct experience of managing commercial and contractual relationships with clients and suppliers for contracts worth > £1M Direct experience of chairing project steering groups and communication of project status to executive level. Good to expert knowledge of managing projects within the following areas: EPG metadata, VOD, DAM, Web Apps, Infrastructure and Business Change. Strong business acumen and financial skills Able to manage the full project lifecycle using Microsoft Project Enterprise as a primary tool. Confident in the use of standard Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) An understanding of the potential of IT based solutions (including social media tools) as tools for communication.
