My client, an IT Solutions provider is seeking an OBIEE Analyst for their client in Abu Dhabi to complete a 1 year contract.
Key skills:
*Extensive experience of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE only - Siebel analytics experience will not be considered)
*Solid experience of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11.1.x using ODI as the ETL tool
*Understanding concept of scorecard, dashboard and KPIs
*Must have worked on Enterprise Dashboards.
*Must be able to lead the client through design/reporting workshops in a consultative manner and suggest recommendations/best practices
*Experienced in understanding user needs and creating RPD with presentation layer that Business Users can understand and use for their analytics.
*Datawarehouse background with strong knowledge of Dimensional Modeling.
*Knowledge of Security and Roles in OBIEE.
*Good knowledge on BI PUBLISHER
*Rapidly prototyping and communicating solutions to demonstrate possibilities to clients.
*Designing and building dashboards, reports and data visualisation interfaces in OBIEE
*Prior experience implementing OBIEE metadata (RPD) design and development - including design and definition of logical tables, physical sources, dimensions, columns and aggregation rules.
*Hands on experience with OBIEE, DAC, ODI, configuring & customising RPDs and Reports
*Experience in the deployment of reporting tools such as OBIEE, BI Server, Answers, or Dashboards
*Strong foundation in industry standard Data Warehousing design concepts
Candidates with experience and expertise in writing and optimising SQL queries and with Marketing, ERP, CRM, Case Management process domain experience in addition to the above will be highly desirable.
