1. I have a SEO-geared multi landing page oriented website in the UK automotive sector. It features mutliple pages of content drafted and uploaded via Wordpress CMS.
The site is 3 years old and now needs to be refreshed and upgraded, particularly to be mobile responsive.
The intention is to give the site a less home made amateurish feel with a more polished finished and improved social media integration.
Orig site content was written and created on a theme hacked together by an entry-level Wordpress developer.
This worked for SEO, but the visual look needs dramatic improvement.
For clarity, I am looking to make only minimal changes to the written content of the site.
However, need a suitable configured new theme to house this existing content in a more professional , contemporary and visually appealing format
Goal could be achieved either by adapting off the shelf premium theme such as U design, or by coding a dedicated new theme with responsive design from scratch, and then install the existing WP-content folder into the new theme.
Avoid Wordpress template "feel".
The brand values we are trying to convey are, in rough order:
- Trustworthy
- Reliable
- High-Tech
- Modern
- Accessible and appealing to the widest range of demographics.
Designer should be able to hard code, even if premium theme actual method of delivery.
There are approx 5-10 critical pages of content which attract most traffic for which I would consider a comprehensive redesign from a user journey perspective.
These would particularly include the home page and the lead capture / sign up page which are critical, and perhaps a handful of other vital pages.
Some skills that would be encountered might be relatively sophisticated sign up contact forms / leads generation etc, google maps.
Looking for developer who charges out at £250-£300 per day calibre; total budget £2,500-£3k.
