Front End Developer

Up to £35,000 DOE

Main responsibilities and functions:

- Working closely with an existing team of developers to work primarily on the front-end development of websites
- On-going maintenance and bug fixes of the above
- Liaising with designers during the design process
- Working closely with QA team to fix device-specific bugs and glitches, particularly for mobile
- Full participation in regular meetings according to the Scrum Framework and the teams agreed schedule
- Adhering to best practises and coding standards as defined within the team

Experience

Essential:

- Experience of implementing websites utilising Responsive Design
- Experience of creating WordPress themes
- HTML 5 / CSS3
- JavaScript / JQuery

Desirable:

- WordPress plugin development
- Responsive framework, preferably Twitter Bootstrap
- Any other back-end development experience
- Agile Scrum or Kanban
