Construction Project Manager/Estates Project Manager - NEC3, GC Works, FIDIC, RIBA, RICS, ICE, IStructE, CIBSE. Current SC Level Security Clearance.
Our government client is looking to recruit an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan, manage and deliver assigned projects.
DUE TO THE URGENCY OF THE ROLE CANDIDATES MUST HOLD CURRENT SECURITY CLEARANCE TO A MINIMUM OF SC LEVEL
- Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
- At least 5 years experience in managing major construction projects from inception to completion.
- Have minimum 5-years experience of deploying medium complexity Estates and security projects in a secure environment.
- Membership of one of the following: RIBA, RICS, ICE, IStruct E, CIBSE
- Experience in using NEC3, GC works, and FIDIC contracts and documentation in procuring construction
- PRINCE2 Practitioner or Equivalent Project Management qualifications.
- Must be qualified to HNC/HND level in relevant subject.
- Have minimum 5-years experience of planning, monitoring and controlling projects using the PRINCE2 methodology or other PM related methodologies.
- Have minimum 5-years experience in planning and delivering medium complexity, multi-skilled projects with values ranging from 500k - 2M, using latest versions of Microsoft Project.
- Have minimum 5-years experience in the assessment, mitigation and management of project risk.
- In-depth understanding of current Legislative and Regulatory framework
- Demonstrable ability in construction procurement and contract administration
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to manage and deliver multiple projects within tight timescales with limited resources, in a number of varied and unique operational environments with numerous technical, political, security, support and logistical challenges.
Due to the sensitive nature of the work, candidates should hold current SC level security clearance (and preferably DV, Developed Vetting, level)
